honest question here, why put effort into saving a badger? i can understand (maybe) if it was attacked by someone's pet or something, but if it sustained injuries from another animal in the forest... c'est la vie? aren't they pretty common good for you regardless, i'm just curious why it was done

I read that as hoovering your nan. I spent a good few minutes wondering how hoovering your nan was a good deed. Then I realised my stupid. My good deed is doing a lot of work for friends and family for free to allow them to save some money. I also have a fairly straight moral compass so most things I do are good deeds.
