Peripherals Camera wont work

Hi guys
My daughter is having a group chat later but her laptop camera wont work,we have tried FN+F6 no joy, the laptop is an MSI GV72 7RE ,in the device manager it says the camera is a canon 3000 series, i cant find any drivers on the web for it,any help would be great,thank you...

 

Have you tried F6 by itself? What program are you using to try it?

 

I have tried just F6 no joy, im just starting the camera from the start menue bud,thanks

 

Something is definitely wrong as a Canon 3000 is either an SLR camera or a printer, depending on prefix. Have you tried updating drivers through device manager?

 

Ive just decided to reinstall windows bud,it was full of junk anyway,hopefully that will sort it,thanks

 

Certainly one way to do it! Windows 10 should have the driver for the camera anyway as MSI don't list a separate one.
