with my GTX 980 , under GeForce experience tab and ashes of the singularity , some of the settings are actually set to LOW or OFF instead of HIGH in game if you press optimise.

nice to see AMD get a win.

Next gen cards will see if they can maintain it.

Your results put Nvidia in a better light than anandtechs benches do in all honesty. Where the 980ti is beaten by every card from the fury upwards convincingly at all resolutions tested.

It's the same company that did star swarm for mantle years ago which drove all the mantle hype because they produced a game that used excessive draw calls which mantle could do better then DX11. It didn't look anything special, and nobody used the Nitrous engine for anything.

This time they have produced a game that isn't really selling (I suspect most sales are to people looking to test DX11 vs DX12) and the new reason it's great is Async Compute, only [H] tried turning it off and it only made a 3% difference to performance on AMD cards.

They are trying to sell their engine and using these sort of tests to publicize which is smart it but lets be honest they still haven't hope vs all the big engine makers. We need to see DX12 stuff based on Frostbyte, Crytek and Unreal engines as they are the ones that games we want to play will use.

Steam players is not the best proof in truth. Most stardock games do not require the steam installer to run. You can buy it from there store page and not use steam.

It was never going to break rts sales records. Starcraft has that title won many times over.

Most stardock games sell around the 300-500k units as they often confirm official figures. That's also near enough what the last sins sold.
