Looks good. More Mirror's Edge is always good.
Now let's hope it's not console exclusive… and that they won't ruin it with heaps of QTE's and obligatory shooting galleries…

Nah they can only improve it. They knew the last game was rushed out and they made a point of saying it'll be released when ready.

This is to me vapourware until I have it.
I LOVED Mirror's Edge, then ME2 was cancelled (AFAIK). Now it's on again... sounds like DNF or (dare I utter the name) Beyond Good & Evil to me

It's not the release date I'm worried about, but rather who is working on the project. That will lead it down some very different paths. I mean for all we know the game could end up being a multiplayer death-match heavy game with a decent, yet thin, and short single player aka COD.

Just saying - WAY too early to say if they going to greatly improve or greatly destroy this IP.

Seriously, Eric Shaun actually stirred when I watched that.

    E3 isn't a failure after all !

The first one had the harshest learning curve I've ever seen in a game, but OMG it was so rewarding when you were running along walls hundreds of feet above ground level.

I would say the first one was an experience, more than a game. Just jaw dropping from start to finish.

I really am excited about this as you probably guessed :)

In all honestly I don't think many games have come close to the visual impact of ME... in fact, I don't think any have. It's unique.

    Trailer?

Do you remember the bit where you stood looking down the waterfall thing?

There were so many :jawdrop: moments in ME it was unreal.

So true, I've been using Mirrors Edge wallpapers since it was a thing; the art style is just amazing :thumb:

I love the original ME to death. I've logged over 200 hours on it, I've got a hand full of top 100 time trial scores, and I can beat the core game in under an hour (that is, if I don't stop to marvel at the scenery). The prospect of #2 finally getting made excites me to no end.

There's always the chance it will be a disappointment, but the worst it can be is a game I don't enjoy playing, and if done properly it could be one of the best games made in years.
