Now even more like Chrome, but still with a separate search bar and more add-ons. Pretty awesome.

Been using the beta for months and it feels ready for release. Really nice to use, fast and well laid-out.

way way better then Chrome which i can't stand.
Tested last night and iplayer is working much better without having to double click to launch full screen.
Hope hotmail issues are fixed also but even more importantly I hope they've made firefox 4 beta work like previous versions with marking and remembering that download links have been used!

I like Chrome so much I really can't see how this can be an improvement, so I'll be sticking with it until someone can seriously prove to me otherwise.

PC Pro cite 7,000 bug fixes since first beta, whereas you say 7,000 since last beta - quite a difference given there have been, what, 10 intervening beta versions?! Can you clarify?

EDIT: according to the Mozilla blog linked from the bit-tech article, it's 7,000 since first beta.

Tbh I've had nothing but problems with the Beta over the last 2 releases.

Been using it since beta one, but only since beta 10 as primary browser. Its stable as hell imho as it only crashed twice on me and both times the reason was Flash. The only thing i noticed was that sync is messing up my bookmarks while syncing between FF4 beta xx on windows and FF 3.6 on OSX.
I filled a bug report about it and it seems the problem is the addon in OSX

Yes it's usable and stable for some month allready.

However, I still want a 64-bit-browser with all 64-bit-plugins instead of a new GUI that I don't like the way it is in FF4.

I switched to Fx4b10 when I had to use it to develop a certain add-on (currently under review at the Fx add-on site :D ). It's been pretty much trouble-free for me. No weird issues which I could blame on Fx at least ;)

Can't wait for the RC :)

I like it, but the scrolling isn't smooth, so back to Opera.

I've been using it since the first beta, since about 5 i've had no crashes or problems :) (Before 5 flash was f**ked though =P)

If you're a speed whore who doesn't care about looks use chrome, if you want something that looks neat & can be customized in useful ways (I moved the tabs down a pixel from the top of the screen so I can move maximized windows easier) it's awesome.
