    I actually enjoyed Diakatana. Played through it as far as I could, got the Daikatana up to level 5, and then the game would crash at the same point, every time.
    I even reinstalled many years later, rebuilt the Daikatana up to level 5 again, and it crashed in the very same place.
    Liked the game, just wish I could have finished it....

    OH! When I read the title John Romero working on Facebook game i thought you meant a game about Facebook! Not John Romero working on A Facebook game. Silly me. :)

    a free, browser-based, facebook-port of Daikatana would be make me log in to my facebook alot more often.....

    Shame he is relegated to that, but it's perhaps because he never sold out. I liked Daikatana too. I think that game was basically just trolled by the gaming press because they felt like tearing someone down...

    Although, facebook games are not exactly the lowest of the low anyway. It's popular after all.

    As crap as facebook games are they make a f*** load of money for the companies behind them. This will just be John cashing in on a slice of that pie. Hell just about everyone on here would do too if it ment they could fund their next epic PC build.
