    Thank you all!

Some sort of desk finished. Not sure if I should treat the doors black.

I, too, love what you have done with the place. The first thing I thought, though, on seeing that metal cage was "FINALLY! Someone has come up with a way to hang surround sound speakers where they are supposed to be!", i.e., at the correct distances from the persons watching TV.

Please tell me you ARE going to install surround...

I missed this one o.0 instantly subbed :) really like the over all design and the way your mind seems to work from one small project to the next while always holding the same theme :D
Can't wait for the next update.

After a long break I decided to turn the room order around. This new order allows for better speaker placement in movie watching. I chose to use 2x Orb Audio speakers per channel. My DIY Seas L26 ROY subwoofer performs great at high crossover frequencies. 120hz and below goes to the sub, rest for Orb Audios. I though these small 3" fullranges would be only mediocre for movies and no use on music but I was wrong. Even in stereo music use Orbs are really enjoyable. Especially midtones (vocals and speech) is good. With sub level set to low the tonal balance is surprisingly close to Genelec 8030 pair. Center channel is still missing in the pics.

Quick sketch plan of the new room order:

Very nice i have enjoyed reading this and like the new layout.

i noticed you don't have a table to eat at? have friends over for food etc...

looking at the empty space behind your desk i immediately though you could put something like this there, so you can fold it against the wall to save space but then bring it out when people are over.

Thanks! Table is missing from these photos since it's not finished project yet. I'll take more photos with table later.

Looks nice as usual... But where did you hide all the legos? :)

Here's one photo of my small dining table. It's made for my previous apartment but I think it fits here aswell. 24mm plywood matte lacquered. I'm thinking of adding another curtain behind the sofa to make that area more "warm".
