Right my current PC is getting a bit long in the tooth (spec below), so I'm looking to upgrade it. I used to be bang on top of what was new and best bang for buck etc, but I'm a little behind now, so not entirely sure what's, what any more.

    Current PC:
    CPU: Intel Q6600
    Graphics: nvidia 8800 GTS 640mb
    RAM: 4GB DDR 2
    Mobo: Can't remember

What I really need advice on are CPU, GPU and Motherboard, I've provided some details below on my requirements, so if anyone could help it would be appreciated.

Amount: Up to about £800 (although I'd be happy to spend more if it meets my requirements)
Use: Primarily as a gaming rig with word processing for good measure (World of Warcraft, Battlefield 3, Diablo 3)
Parts being kept: Case - Lian Li PC65, HDDs: 2x Samsung spinpoint F3's, PSU(Possibly): Currently have a 550w PSU with 2x PCI-E 6 pin connectors.
    Resolution: 1920x1080

Possibly get a new PSU though, 550W might be ok as they're all very power-frugal parts, but I'd be happier with 600W-700W.

Edit: my bad, thought you were just upgrading CPU/mobo/gfx. Maybe wait until the 670 comes out, use the spare money from that for everything else (CPU cooler, RAM, etc).
