    Try it. You may like it.

    My wife bought an HTC 8S because it was compact and cheap. Playing with it, I just can't get over how elegant and well-thought-out WP8 is. It makes my iPhone's iOS look clumsy and awkward in comparison. It's been a revelation. Every time I use it I think: "Why do people have such an issue with it?". I just don't get it.

    I think most people enjoy using it for the first couple of months but after that the limitations of WP start to become annoying, such as the lack (both quantity and quality) of apps. Most of this is just because WP has been around less time than either ios or android.

    One thing I find with WP is that there is often a lot of wasted space on the screen which annoys me a bit.

    Actually there are some surprisingly good apps, some better than their official counterparts: MetroTube (YouTube), Instant (Instagram), 6sec (Vine)... But apps have never been a huge priority for me.

    The main thing I like is that many features or commands are invoked with swipes, which is quicker and easier than pressing tiny buttons (iOS).
