seems a little strange given they dont aim for enthusiasts... there stuff look run of the mill OEM stuff now....

but i know they use to do decent Modular PSU's, but that was a while ago now

It is indeed odd, I thought all there stuff nowadays is just run-of-the-mill (like you said).

Well.....we shall have to see :)

Are we going to have someone from FSP on these forums then to deal with user posts?

FSP are a huuuuge PSU manufacturer. Their business is mostly OEM for others like CWT or Delta, however they have been trying to increase the presence of their own brand in recent years :) One of the first with 80Plus Gold iirc, although only on very expensive 1,000W models at the time. (2 years ago?)

    I've got an FSP 1010W,

I had some issues with it when I first got it but it seemed to work quite well now once I got my graphics card replaced.

Overall my Everest PSU is very good and does the job and is quite quiet

Out of interest, have FSP ever had a PSU recommended on B-T or in Custom PC? I don't recall.

The 1.2kW one FSP released a couple of years ago got a very good review in Custom PC and sat on the Elite list for about six months.

Ah ha, thanks, I couldn't remember.

Been a while though considering they're such a large manufacturer of their own and OEM brand PSUs.

Hopefully we'll see some new additions from them to stir up the competition.

I think the BlueStorm was recommended for a while as well, that was a little 400watt thing though.
Seem to remember reading an article about them wanting to re-enter the enthusiast market so it's not entirely surprising that they've shown up here. Haven't they been involved in the PSU mega-test as well?
