2-3-3-11, in safe mode so no background processes, WinXP...

Hmm i dunno. I'll give it a go
EDIT: how much does it depend on memory clocks? I don't really trust mine to do 2-2-2 at anything very high, so how much harm would the RAM divider do? Or should i just not bother if i have to use it

More than running like you are atm
Look this way, housemates 2.6ghz barton, with 210 fsb, 2.5,3,3,x gets 40 secs..
Mine (t/bred @ 2.5, 240 fsb 2.5,2,2,x gets 40 secs) however theres a 200 mhz defecit in the t/bred due to the loss of cache so effectively he as a 2.8ghz t/bred...
    Go figure...

Hey I came across this page while doing a search and joined up.
I thought it would be interesting to do a SuperPI calculation with a underclocked A64 3200. Stats at time of calculation: CPU @ 1GHz, RAM @ 100MHz, HT multi @ 1... Ended up getting a time of 1m32s.

I got 40s at the stock 2.2GHz using a bogged down Windows XP.
I would post the pictures but according to the little square at the bottem, I'm not allowed to post attatchments yet.

Ok lets try this then... My best is 39s(cant remember the overclock though) My system has been kinda shakey with overclocking even since the power flucuations a few days ago... Think I fried my RAM... :wallbash:

Cheers, rehosted it on bit-tech's servers - I forgot to ever update the URL when I started writing for bit-tech full time. :thumb:

from what ive heard of VX, you should be able to run 1:1 at 2-2-2 with a decent amount of voltage

and if that is all you can get with that, i may have to reconsider it as a replacement for my 3700EB :eyebrow:

oh yeah, I forgot. I had overvolted it there because I was tired and typed something wrong into my calculator. I've got it stable with a 1.54 vcore (1.4x110%). I'll take a pic soon, but right now I'm puching for 2.7GHz. I'm not overclocking the RAM right now. I first want to find my highest CPU speed, then I will unleash my RAM (by slowly getting rid of the multiplier). I think ths is a good way to find max CPU speed (as that's more important than overclocked ram).

If you can feed that mem 3.5v then it should be good for 260 no prbs 2,2,2,x :D Should be a nice system with 2.7ghz of cpu power behind it too....

yeah. You can easily feed it 3.5volts. I saw some guy say that he gave his 3.7 to reach 270 2-2-2-6 1T.
