    256 GB SSD? Sure, I'll take 2 please, here are the keys for my house... oh wait, I dont have one. I'll just stick with normal hdd's until ssd is more affordable. 1TB mechanical hdd's at roughly 100£ are just too hard to ignore.

    competition is very good..... and i would not mind using a 32GB or 64GB one for my OS and assorted software... and a mechanical one for the rest.

    Yeah that's what I want to do in the future when the prices drop a bit, although I'd need around 150Gb at least.

    hmm well this is a nice step in the right direction but I think I would prefer IBM tech with the nanowire stuff.

    Damn! Thats a lot of SSD news the last couple of weeks. Makes you wonder how soon the prices will drop and the storage capacity will rise.
