You are cranking out parts at a ruthless pace! If it's not too much, I would like to see a full pic of your CNC machine. If you posted it earlier, someone throw me a link!

I love the work you're doing on this project and the overall styling.
It's similar to my very own tastes in case design, so it gets a major thumbs-up from me. :thumb:

Keep up the great work, I'll be watching this one eagerly. :)

@aCe: Found some links for you, in case you haven't found what you're looking for yet. Btw, they are called CNC Routers.

    - A bunch of hobby cnc links (you'll probably find most of what you need among these links) -> http://www.cuttingedgecnc.com/links.htm
    - Build your own cnc router -> http://buildyourcnc.com/default.aspx
    - CNC Zone forum (they have more (sub) forums than you can shake a stick at, and among these a 'DIY-CNC Router Table Machines' forum) -> http://www.cnczone.com/forums/index.php

All the parts used to manufacture it can be bought from www.solectro.se (I don't know any american shops though). No, I actually bought it from a guy who thought it was broken, but obviously it was'nt :naughty:

I'd imagine the controller is crazy expensive though (If you're not building your own of course)

I was a bit bored today, so i figured it'd be a good idea to mess aound a bit with the lighting :)

Soldered a couple of white 8K LEDs (sorry about the messy pic):

These are supposed to go into the four holes on the sides, thereby hopefully illuminating the acrylic a bit
    [IMG]

And of course, PVC tubing is a must-have  I think this is 6mm.

Made a pair of acrylic pieces to fit the LEDs in
    [IMG]

    Test-fit
    [IMG]

    Bolting it on :)

I'd say that looks pretty damn good

After this I just could'nt help myself. I just had to see them in action.

Too bad my camera is making them look blue  As you can see this is'nt much of an update really, but there's more to come :)

Looking great as always!! The top edge of the transparent acrylic looks a bit dimmer than the other edges, is this only due to the angle?
Does your camera have custom white balance? This works really well with single color light source(s).
((On my camera, it works like this; You take a pic of a white surface (a sheet of paper for example) that's in the same light as the object you will photograph. Then you tell the camera to use that pic as a reference for setting the white balance.))
    Keep up the excellent work!!

@aCe: ur wlcm, glad I could help! ^_^
