I came across a Volvo C70 today. It's neither cool or impressive, but it's very rare around here.

For some reason Norwegians seem to only buy Volvos' V-series.

seen this many moons ago outside B&Q... would imagine it being quite difficult to get half a ton of stone and some 6ft fence posts in the boot...

That's mainly because the C70 is excessively expensive, impractical, and not even a cool poser car.
Make no mistake, I am a certified volvo fanboy, but the C70 is just not on.

It's a rapper car (like all 4 door convertibles, IMHO - Beemer 3 convertible, Merc CLK, etc), but still built to be safe, and sweidish, which means that it's a wee bit conservative.

Add to that the price tag of it (let's see: CLK costs about the same, as does an M3, a C63, an S60 R Design Polestar, and so many others...)

If I were given one, I'd sell it and by an S60 T6 and an MX5 or something. :p

Stoned where the hell are you? Because those are some beautiful cars.

Saw about 3 Bentlys on the way home. I didn't take a picture of them due to me driving.

I live in Westwood, so Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Bel Air etc are all walking distance.

It's fun. We get a lot of film folks too because apparently hanging around college campuses is, like, totally hip.

    Can-Am Spyder RS.

I see the same yellow one almost every weekday as our commutes home seem to pass each other, but yesterday there was a second one in black. They're not expensive or attractive (imo) but they aren't exactly common and it made me curious just how rare they are. Anyone here seen any around?

That's nothing, I live just 5 mins (as the crow flies) from the main Factory where they are made, I've had a private tour around the facility, and my mate works there too. To top it off, i indirectly helped with one of the 'small' parts on the Phantom.

I confirm. Since you don't need to own a motorcycle license, there is a billion of those on the road.

That's nice. I prefer the Phantom to the ghost, because the Phantom is as close to a "true RR" as one can get, while the Ghost is basically a tricked-out 7-series.
