Whilst I'm not able to offer a great deal of constructive input specific to the question, you might get some better advice if you can post whether it's for primarily music, films games and budget/space constraints and what inputs you require. FWIW soundbars tend to be for scenarios where you can't accommodate "real" speakers, and are often compromised in comparison. In comparison to the Z2300s though, this could be different.
Well I would be using for films, TV and games mainly also would not say space is a issue I was just wondering if a sound bar is the way forward as oppose to speakers. My budget would probably be up to £150 ~
Have to agree with this. They are a bit of a compromise. The sound bars with a separate sub aren't to bad though. At least it has a decent amount of base. As a personal thing. I would always go for separates.
£150 is a small budget for a soundbar, I would expect them all to sound fairly meh at that price range. £150 in 2nd hand seps could be super though
I'd definitely vote for separates. You could pickup a decent 2nd hand system for around £150 (perhaps a used Onkyo all-in-one or similar). You could always start with a better amp and two fronts for your £150 budget, then expand to 5.1 as funds allow...
for £150 you could buy a nice 2.0 or 2.1 set of speakers. I've never heard a nice soudbar. m-audio av40
+1 for the separates. Soundbars are by their very essense a compromise...so if you are wiling to put in a bit of extra effort a proper 2.0 or 2.1 set-up will be far superior. I've heard (pun intended) good things about Microlabs. For the same money as the soundbar you've picked out in your OP you could get a set of Microlab Solo6c. Never heard them myself but appear to be pretty highly rated.

I don't think soundbars are compromise. But I'm comparing top of the range Yamaha Vs my years old Logitech gaming set. Anyway, yes, I think for that budget, I'd have separate speakers.

Unfortunately although its cheaper still would cost me £69 because Scan charge the Highlands £12.99 carriage >.<
sorry to be pedantic, but thats the Solo 1C, which is a lower spec (60w vs 100W for the 6Cs) I'm sure its still a good speaker, mind...everything I hear about Microlabs is overwhelmingly positive!
