I'm going to join the ranks of people saying "Aww damn."
I read through the log and was getting excited to see the finish because it is looking so good and you are so close and then ... nothing.

I love your use of CCFL's. I haven't really liked them up until now because they just put light everywhere but you are managing to get some really intense spotlighting effects which is awesome.
Im enjoying the whole case really.
I am now left being intrigued about how the back is going to function though. I love how it is all hidden and stealthed, I find that it gets left looking ugly in a lot of mods/builds.

So it is spring now for you? Hmmm, I can wait I guess.
    Bookmarked and Subbed.

Once upon a time the was a mod called Stackart...

    Today it continues.

For those still there, it was a long wait. Almost two years (it felt shorter) since the last update. Many things have happened which I wont bother you with because here is update 13.

The very first thing I had to do was reassemble the case since I stored all parts separately. After reading this log again I remembered how to put the back together. With the case reassembled all lights were switched on.

Before I could start making new parts I had to see the case with different watercolours. So I made some red and blue water in different intensities.

And two more with the reddest water. The blue fan I added just to see how that looked.

    Some blue water shots.

And two more with the strongest blue.

I think I will go with red. This because I like the colour better with the yellow. The panel at the top of the case has red plexiglas underneath it. Some more red plexi I want to use at the front of the case.

After looking at the pretty colours it was time to saw and drill once more.
To start simple I fixed some light leakage between some panels. Therefore I added some aluminium strips on several places behind the panelling. Below a picture which has some of these stips placed. It's not that interesting.

Done with that a new part to the mod had to be made and it had to be the front. It is far from done but here is the start.

First step was placing the dvd drive.

Attached a sheet of aluminium to the case by drilling holes, tapping thread and bolting it fit.

To return to the case are the original aluminium bars. The big holes I had to make to fit the bolts which hold the sheet in place. The small are original and will be used again for fitting the bars.

Next the 'guess what it is' picture. Not difficult, a radiator with M4 threads.

Now I skipped a picture because I forgot making it.

And the radiator attached to the front of the case.

Next update will be before we all age two more years. The planning is that the build continues until its done. But "its done when its done" still stands :D

Finishing was and is the goal. It just had some delay  I won't let GT5 get in the way to much if I can help myself

Well, this time it took me only two months to have a new update. (I blame it on the game industy, damn you gt5 and brotherhood)

Lets continue with the front of the case. It needs some more than it has now.

Therefore I took some inspiration from coolermaster.

The only thing is, it doesn't look so nice. So I made the following inspired by the above.

Also made a red plexi detail at the bottom of the front.

Nice I sad to myself but not enough. The space between the two aluminium bars needs to be filled more. I made a preview with cardboard. I will make it in yellow plexiglas to have the same colour thats inside on the outside as well.

I want to make these ribs three layers thick. One large and two smaller just like the hdd tray. Illustrated with two pieces of coulored cardboard. The actual plexi is thicker ofcourse.

That's all I have done so far. Progress is there but slow.
