Just a thought and a question. That logo is identified with the Apple Hackintosh movement. Build PC's to run OSX on! Still, it would look great on a case. So the question is, Do you have photoshop? If so you can get the psd file from deviantart.com just search Hackintosh Logo. Love the case renders. :thumb: Got a watch this one! Got a neat logo of a poisoned apple. still need to figure out how to attach a pict. noob blues :wallbash:

Just a little something I made at work on our 3D printer. Its an 80mm rotating fan grill. The cool thing about it is there are no slots to insert the center piece as it was printed all as one unit and then a thin layer of wax was melted away freeing the center. I don't have a use for it at the moment, it was made more as a test part to see how well we can create functional parts encased inside another. It also served as a test for removing wax from unexposed areas (took a while but finally got enough of it out for it to move).

I apologize for the pictures, the color and the transparency of the material makes it hard to see the details...

I want that weighted storage cube! Fortunately uni is about to (probably inadvertently) give me access to a 3D printer. I think I know what my first print job will be...

Its a really cool piece of equipment! The Companion Cube actually servers as a good test part for removing the support wax from small hard to reach areas. That and its just cool!

I stumped as to what project I thought to myself, "Boy, I wish I had one of those 3D printers!"

lol yeah im not sure what I would use it for either but its a cool piece of equipment. I stuck an LED in the bottom of a smaller cube and it lights up pretty well. Could make some cool hood ornaments? :hehe:

I saw a SICK paint job while driving up to Duluth this weekend. A matte black Dodge Viper with just a few gloss orange accents. Looks seriously awesome. I kinda want to get away from some of the Mac design cues so I decided to do a quick render to see what it might look like. Im thinking all matte black interior with just a few orange sleeved cables and maybe some orange screws. A few white LEDs to light the inside but thats it. Let me know what you think of the idea, (just playing around with the design until I get the time/money to start building).

Robo, man! Sick and slick . Very aggressive looking mean machine. I'm gonna take a peak at the Mopar site to see what orange they're using, reminds me of the old "Boss" Mustang. I'd be tempted to rob the guts out of the upcoming new Mac pro and putting them in this case. That would be a real refresh. Love the logo! Hope you get this to the build stage.

The black/orange one looks sick. Hell, I like all of them really, but the black/orange takes the cake for me. And I also wish I had a 3D printer... oh the possibilities...

Thanks! That means a lot coming from a Mod God such as yourself!

I forgot to mention I did get a new mouse (old one died on me) that Im hopping to mod to match the Anti-Mac. Its a Cyborge R.A.T. 7. I LOVE this thing, it looks great and its very comfy. Im thinking of anodizing all the metal parts orange and getting the Anti-Mac logo painted on the palm rest as well as cleaning off all the other markings. Any other thoughts?

Oh man... that black&orange combo looks amazing. Kindda like what a Mac would look like if it decided to rebel against daddy Jobbs and go into the dark side...

One suggestion; if I may... I would do the AntiMac logo on the side panel as a cutout+orange plexi combination.... I would laser cut the alu side panel with the logo and then cnc some plexi to fit the cut out from behind (not flush... a little bit raised)... I'm sure you could even twist someone's arm over at mnpctech to help you out with the cutting of the side panel and the cnc'ing of the plexi.

And then you could light the thing up with a couple LEDs and set them up so that they fade in and out... kindda like breathing or a heart beat effect. That would look awesome.

    PS: Oh.. I forgot..
    - What SW are you using for your models/renders?
    - When you do build this thing... If your little bro is being a dick... I'll gladly buy it from you :D
