At least your lecturer has a sense of humour.

Personally, starting an advanced calculus course which has a lecturer who doesn't so much teach as copy proofs onto the board, missing out bits he terms "obvious". The prospect of teaching myself multi variable calculus is ruining my life atm.

 

Failed first semester of Senior year and have therefore ruined my college acceptance changes.

 

This thread is getting seriously depressing...

Cold weather

 

spec: that's pretty much every single maths lecturer's 'method' of teaching.
at least ours was funny and evidently ex-KGB: he kept saying things along the lines of "so we take this variable upstairs, and we kill him"

Oh and, my life is still pretty awesome, aside from the fact that I don't have the time to play ME2 as much as I want, or use my new camera.

I've been surprisingly lucky so far. Mostly good lecturers. This one though doesn't have method. He literally just copies proofs onto the board for 50 minutes while we all sit in silence either trying not to fall asleep or lamenting the fact that we're wasting 50 minutes in which we could be learning something.

 

Having the goverment decide that my wife doesn't need 200 Euro a week, but only 130, and then having the cheek to say we don't need mortgage relief. Gee you just cut our monthly income by 280 Euro you idiots, and we DON'T need all the help we can get.

Typical in Ireland, both of us worked for years, paid our taxes, but when we need help we get none. Meanwhile lazy gits who only pop out kids to get a welfare cheque get given everything they want for free......

 

Knowing that no matter what I do I will never find a phone that bests my modded V3v.

 

My printer refusing to print black ink, forcing me to turn the UPS man away as I couldn't print out the postage labels for my Z-5500's i've just sold.. Now I have to re-book it (another £12 down the drain), send the labels via email to a friend/relative and get them to print the labels for me.


Oh, and having to sell my Z-5500's cus I cant use them.

Whats the worst that could happen? Shes looking at you for a reason!!
I've recently "found" my confidence and now that I look back at how I used to be and think, I wasnt doing myself any favours..
You don't have to have a full blown convo with her, just say Hi when you see her, then after a few days to a week of that, ask how she is, what shes up to at the weekend. I know it sounds daunting but believe it or not, nearly everyone finds it hard to talk to new people
