My parents are remodeling the kitchen, and thus they are getting new counters as well. They can't decide between these two counters (both solid stone), or actually, one day they want this one, one day they want that one, so it all comes down to what they want the day they order I have my own favorite, but I just wanted to see if you think the same as me... Here are samples of the two stones (don't mind the wall tiles standing in the background). The one to the left is called Inlac Brown and the one to the right is called Rosa Beta (guess they haven't released it yet then. Sorry, computer humor). Here's the kitchen interior they are going to have (the door fronts, I mean) A mod can maybe make this a poll. Please state your opinion.
I'd go with the light one. I think I'd get sick of the dark one for some reason. I think there's something about the red crystals in it that I don't like. Then again I might change my mind tomorrow
Well I would say go with the light one as a dark one would make the kitchen seem very dark. However you are going with dark wood so Inlac Brown would match better. I'm not really a fan of either, I think they are both far too fussy. However I would go with the light one, it would create a nice contrast in light of the top and dark of the units. Plus it would make sure the kitchen didn't end up too dingy. NB: my mum agrees
go for the darker one but bring some colour in buy useing some nice tiles. as i rember fiered earth dose some realy nice tiles but sexspensive they are.....
are they corean?corian?sp? But if one is then go with that one the light one looks like it so definitely go with that. That stuff is soo nice. U can cut on the counter and it won't scratch and it lasts along time. And for the tile The pink one to the far right would go along nicely!
Thanks for your views (keep them coming). My personal favorite is the Inlac Brown, as I have seen kitchens at the kitchen store/stone store with either one of the counters. The Rosa Beta is kind of like looking on a TV with bad signal - your eyes get tired. But it was interesting to hear that other people than my parents think that the bad TV signal counter could be used. Btw, I can hear it on the kitchen lady (maybe they call them interior decorators/consultant/architects or something now) that she doesn't really like the light one. When my parents mention it she says "Umm....yeah....that's an option too.." Anyway, I wonder what it will be. Just out of curiousity, I wonder what are the prices of these counters in the US/UK? I was wondering if it is only over here they cost a fortune.
Poll With the colour of the cabinets you're having, Inlac Brown would be the counter of choice, imo. PS - Poll added.
