Thats really interesting, i've not really watched much of the presidential stuff in americaland as it doesn't really effect me, and i can't vote anyway... Two different sides, Obama wants to cut taxes on the less rich and more needy, and tax the higher uppers, while Mcain wants to tax benefit the big corps, how will that help the little man? Joe the plumber mentioned 26 times in the debate, economy 16 and iraq 6, crazy how something effectively so 'small' is blown up so big!
The best bit was the dinosaur walking past the window. I despise McCain, but at least his choice of Palin has brought more attention to US politics. My absentee vote for Obama is currently on it's way to Detroit
Even though we are across the Atlantic, most of us are aware of this. Our media is paying way more attention to the US election than our own politics, probably because you guys do it with a bit more style (though less substance). One thing I do like is the Presidential debates, I would like to see our guys do something similar.
