Hi All Its looks like I won't be bringing my SP2500's back from the dead any time soon, but I've been having a music binge tonight and been missing their level of quality, power and house shaking bass. So my question to you is what would a something equivalent to them? I'm thiking in terms of: Performance (the aweseome revurb from that massive sub is something I desperately miss) Ease of use Functionality - they had this setting where if you disabled the sib it'd rebalance to the satalites, I found it massively useful! Also simple controls for sub power. Cost Lets say cost doesn't matter (something like £500 or so tops) what kind of setup would I need?

As far as good audio quality computer speakers go there aren't many choices really. Edifier make the best stuff there, until you tip over into hifi land.

So Amazon must be selling them off cheap, as £229 is not what they cost. They do it with Bose gear etc sometimes too. IE - that price is really decent, given they are hifi grade good speakers with decent amplification. When I switched monitors I lost the B&O "tweeters" in the one I was using before. I have a sub (Bose, white one looks like this) And I was running the sound into my B&O monitor and splitting off to that. I got it for £45 a few years back, mint condition, took it apart and removed the proprietary Bose amp and fitted a Chringrish one. It works lovely, and provides a nice thump (two 6" subs in there). However, now I need some full range speakers as I have none. So I might grab a pair of those eggs myself, and use the sub out to go into the Bose.
