    that engine sounded niiiice... i was expecting him to floor it.. the cameraman was pretty useless though, didnt really show the outside... :sigh: At least we got the engine sound :D

    not trying to hijack the thread or anything, but the v8's and motorcycle stuff reminded me of something.

    i am in the process of enrolling in a school called wyotech. if you live in the states and have watched the tv shows "overhaulin" or "trucks!" youd know what im talking about. its a street rod school where they teach you how to do most EVERYTHING from the inside out.

    anyway, i went on a tour a few months back and they were showing us some projects that some students had done in the metalshop in their spare time. there was a motorcycle frame someone had fabed up. the tour guide told us that they had the student discontinue the project because they found out he wanted to put a smallblock chevy v8 in it. if he tipped it he would probably lose his leg. now that would have turned some heads.

    I downloaded that earlier and qued it up in winamp. I then proceded to crank my system up to it's absolute maximum, grab my remote wonder, and went outside my apartment building.

    I heard my window rattle from the other side of the parking lot :D

    I heard something similar from a chevelle with a 350 and strait pipes at a local charity show. I could feel the motor rumbling on my chest and on the ground.

    When it comes to it to me there isnt anything sexier than a big v8 with lots of grunt unless its a biger v8 with more grunt.

    But yeh it sounded mean as hell and man it looked like it acelerated hard too.

    If you do some reserch there is a video of a c5 corvette with a 502 in it that sounds insanely mean and ildes really rough just like that. the tail pipes shake from the sound.

    The Ferrari 360 CS (Challenge Stradale) has to be the sexiest sounding 'factory standard' car out there - if you hear one go past you at full chat, you'll understand why....3.6 litre V8, 425+bhp and it revs like nothing else...
