If you have Arma 2 all you need is Operation Arrowhead. And DayZ Commander. I think then it's just install the mods and away you go. OA Steam Bohemia Link None Steam Bohemia Link Direct from Steam OA is £2 more expensive. It's the little things I guess.
Not to mention, DayZ mods which can boost the over all folder size to about 30gb, at least with the none Steam version of the game.
Luckily (or unluckily) I just replaced my 1TB Documentaries + Games (don't ask about the combo, I'm splitting about 3TB of stuff across drives) drive to 2TB over the weekend thanks to a dying Samsung F3, so loads of room.
Yay, I don't have all the different maps installed simply as I dont play them. So Namalsk, DayZ Chernarous and Taviana at the moment. Play the standard DayZ on a private Hive, maybe pick one with custom load out, that has a map so you can learn where things are.
is anyone wants to team up on DayZ+ UK1 or 2 let me know, and ZiiP will have there own Privet Plus server soon!! you should all come play on it... To be my sport! D:
Is there any further word on when the standalone should be approximately coming out? I know that a little like 'how long is a piece of string' etc..
Be prepared for a lot of running. Being scared you will die and no way of stopping it. And hoping gear spawns go to your advantage. Also look for fun friendly servers because plenty of people shoot on sight.
Reading back at some of the early pages I'm fully prepared to die, often, but it's getting there that's fun.
Good News! - I found my awesome char! It was the one server i thought "Thats a private hive the char was a piblic server one" i was wrong i had created it on the private hive! Bad News - I must have screwed up when i moved my M4 into my bag, all my ammo is gone WSo i have an M4 with 0 ammo lol. Still at the moment its my best character due to all the food an water.

Negatory. I'm a modest flower, so very late to the whole speak-to-strangers idea. The only mic I have is an old 2.5mm one, but that won't work with my DAC setup. I'm planning to invest in a USB one, but it ain't here yet.
