ok so i have a ton of legally acquired movies and im looking for a slick way to browse them. Something like all movies that can also launch VLC from the library. Simply arranging by date or title is a PITA. Anyone have a solution?
Maybe a little different from what you're thinking but XBMC is a nice front end for your movies (among other things). It can be set up in a variety of ways to browse through your movies, giving dvd case view/poster view/ media info etc. Would also play the movies for you so wouldn't need vlc.
