Windows CD Burning under XP

    What do you lot use for burning with XP, used to use nero with win98, but it dont detect me writer with xp :(.

    i use Easy CD v5 inc latest patch...works well (as long you dont inc direct cd and Take two)...:D

    I agree with Lowtech CD v5 Platinum edition but you will need the patch, as XP will not be happy, it comes up with all sorts of errors.

    I use the HP 8200e USB CDR and needed the USB patch released by HP. Took me ages to get all the right drivers on?

    Only got all working on Sunday haven't had chance to prove its working but it seems happy enough in windows.

    Anybody know if Clone CD has any issues?

    Some people say it does a better copy?

    Not sure if XP will spit the dummy.

    Should work ok but it probebly depends on your cd burner...

    used clone CD with me 8*4*32 traxdata Writer and it worked fine

    Help

    Will try it when I get a moment

    CD Driver is a generic 52x Speed
    HP Usb CDR 8230e

    Got the lastest patch but when I look in device manger it show its using Microsoft Driver 5.1.2535.0

    Got through 10 CD already, on the verge of chucking it out the window. :mad:

    Nero Burn don't work either. :mad:

    Might buy an LG drive any comments.

    The shop say it works fine on XP?

    I wouldn't have thought it was a drive issue, but a driver/software problem.

    Officail responce from Hp on this drive is that they will not support XP until new drivers are release in the next couple of weeks!

    Bought a new IDE one any way, not installed it yet I will update as soon as I have.

    MY Nero works just fine with Nero 5.5 and Marai 12x10x32x CD Burner
