Over the last 2 days my PC has been playing up. Chrashing then beeping loads and not booting up. When it's been beeping LEDs numbers 4 and 5 flash red. It was pretty dusty so I've cleaned it up a little. Could it just have been dusk, or could it be something else?

    Thanks in advance :thumb:

Need a few more details to advise on a solution. What motherboard do you have? How many beeps does it make? When you say it crashes does it go a to a blue screen of death (If so check your RAM)?

    Thanks for replying :D
    My mother board is:
    Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R
I can't remember how many beeps, was proably around 6, will count next time. I don't think it blue screened, just stopped responding so I hit the reset. There was a lot of dust inside. Do you think the ram could just be lose or would it need replacing? It started each time with firefox getting really slow and crashing first.

Yeah, check out what those beeps are in the manual.

If it's not getting anywhere, then re-seat the RAM and run a memtest+ on them.

When you say it not booting up, does it just not get past the POST or do you get nothing?
