So it seems everyone's fears were well founded.

NHS patient data audit uncovers 'significant lapses' in confidentiality

But we can rest assured that they are working to improve things
Yea, still don't trust em. :nono:

I did pick up on Mr Bushes baloney sandwiches & I'd prefer it if people liked the waltons.

does this mean, we can turn around to insurance companies and say " you already have my information, no need for me to declare anything"?

Well last time I insured the car they asked me why I had a full English for breakfast most days so they might know everything :worried:

But anything that's open to abuse you can be sure the government will be the first to abuse it.

I thought nowadays the government gets private firms to do all its business, that way when it all goes wrong they can blame someone else for the problems.

True but it's still the government that makes it possible to be abused and they benefit from it in ways we will never know.

So we are supposed to trust third party companies to hold and administer all this data even though a recent report by BigBrotherWatch shows patient confidentiality is broken 6 times a day.

    http://www.bigbrotherwatch.org.uk/home/2014/11/new-report-patient-confidentiality-broken-6-times-day.html#more-6475
Or would there be less data breaches if our medical records were taken out of the hands of the NHS ?
