Of course not, this is a Humble Bundle offer supported by Steam but otherwise they have no affiliation.

It's a good deal if you spend 25 bucks but I thought the whole point of the humble bundle thing was DRM free games?

Sacred 2 is buggy as hell. Once you get past figuring out that you have to load Legacy NVidia PhysX Drivers (replaces AGEIA PhysX) the game still has a tendency to lock up randomly. It's a shame really because the game looked interesting. Bought it when it first came out, then reinstalled recently with the last issued updates and still couldn't run it for more than an hour or so without a problem. I experienced the problems both on Vista and Windows 7 on completely different hardware. I uninstalled it this last time when it locked up on the menu screen.

Good deal if you spend over 5, imo. I got SR2 a while ago in a Steam sale, and SR3 in the Humble THQ Bundle. Just the same, I might kick 'em $15 for what I don't already own.

I like what the Humble Bundle guys are doing, even if I've barely touched most of the games I got from the last three Humble Indie Bundles.

Even if you don't like the idea, kick 'em 10 anyway and give it all to charity - that's a big part of the deal, too - you control the split of where the money goes. With the THQ Bundle, I gave THQ nothing, Humble a couple bucks, and the rest to charity. In hindsight, maybe I should have thrown some dollars THQ's way :p

Yup. So true. I've tried to play this game so many times but it's just unplayable because of the bugs :/

I know about the deal, not getting this one though as I have most of the games already. I've picked up a dozen or so of these bundles in the past.

When I press "Purchase" I get the choice of:

    • Paypal
    • Paynow
    • Buy with Google
    • Buy with Bitcoin

    And not, Pay by credit-card...

You can use Paypal with credit card. You can use Amazon Paynow with credit cards. You can use "Buy with Google" with credit cards... They are only the middle-man, like when they use a credit card payment portal of some bank. How is paying through one of the first three different than that ?

I've not got a paypal, paynow, google-wallet or bitcoin account, that's how it differs from a direct credit card payment.

But I realise that's just me

    Edit:
I may have a paynow account, if it is the same as a regular Amazon account that is...

I always thought the main point was giving a donation to charities. I buy most bundles and when the EFF was part of the process I gave to that. The issue I have is when they choose 2 American charities that benefit only America.

DRM not an issue for me.
