Really need to get round to playing human revolution to the end before this new version comes out and makes me think i'm wasting my time with an old title. I was enjoying it but other games came out and distracted me :(

What is distopian? Surely you do not mean dystopian?

Do not use words you can not spell, or use a bloody dictionary. While this is the internet, you embarrass yourself and BT with adolescent spelling.

Additionally, there is no word "dystopian", only dystopia. I will let you figure out how to construct the sentence to mean what you would like.

Great news. One of my favorite IPs.

I remember with great joy the hundreds of hours in Deus Ex.

You mean from the use of the word 'distopian' you were able to decipher, given the context of a futuristic, dystopian, series of games, that the writer meant 'dystopian'? If only we all had your powers of linguistic detection...

Oh, hang on, actually... everybody understands exactly what the writer was getting at, which is the purpose of written communication, no?

And what do you use as your source that there is no word 'dystopian'?

Only one embarrassment going on here. Whereabouts are you on the spectrum?

On topic, couldn't get into DE:HR so not sold on this idea...yet.

One of the only games I got all achievements for, in 2 runthroughs :) And I surely liked the story alot, immersive and such.

Would have loved to try full augmentations though, iirc, one couldn't get everything activated.

Yes! I'm really buzzing for this, I really loved Human Revolution (well, apart from the dodgy boss battles :wallbash:).

EDIT: And a Thief reboot as well, double win!

I need to re-visit Human Revolution, last time I played it I have to say that it did feel rather 'samey' to the original but was heavily involved in World Of Warcraft at the same time and if I am honest, I did not fancy the action adventure on top of the raiding schedule.

WoW's gone now so I can give the game the attention it deserved and see if I enjoy it more as a result.

    Just ignore Spam*Dagger ;)

I agree though, I've tried twice to play DE:HR and I've struggled to really feel it. always ended up going back to something else.

From what I remember I quickly got fed up with the investigation mechanism of the story i.e. walk around looking for someone til you work out where they are and how to get to them, then engage them in a conversation for an overly-long length of time, at which point they ask you to go somewhere else/speak to someone else.

In short: too much walking and talking.

Agree with Porkins, that was my recollection the rewards/level of action inbetween walking and talking were underwhelming, let see if I feel the same way when I reload it over the weekend.

You must be new here. SD always posts dumb ****.

You couldn't get into HR because it's not a very good game.

HR is actually a great game, unfortunately the boss battles go against everything that the game works to build itself towards otherwise as a more stealth based RPG.
