    First Riddick game was underrated - really good game that captured the feel of Riddick in the films quite well. Second one was a bit of a let down - mostly because there wasn't much too it if you'd already played the first one. Hope they can do as good job of the new one.

    Riddick - if done any justice, would be a tougher, meaner, more violent, but just as stealthy version of Garrett...

    Should be good if they stick to what made Escape from Butcher Bay such a great game, first person view, stealth, adventure, and telling the story of Riddick.

    The original is a must play for anyone who has never experienced it.

    The variation in game play in the first game was pretty unique at the time, the prison life elements mixed with more traditional shooter levels as well as the strange environments you kept finding yourself in. Could use more outdoor elements though for sure.

    Riddick is one of the most underrated IPs imho, and if they can make an even better version of the first Riddick-game then there's much to look forward to.

    Apart of buying a package in Star Citizen project, this is the best news today so far:)
    Great to hear they gonna make new game.. I'm going to cinema tomorrow to see Riddick :D

    I really enjoyed the Riddick games(and quite liked the films too), I'm hoping this new game can capture the atmosphere and gameplay of the original.

    I remember that close combat(fists/melee fights) like it was in Riddick was never seen in any FPS until then.
    It was really standout game for FPS genre.

    Agreed - fantastic game that is a must-play in the collection. The '09 remastered version still looks decent too, for those put off by ancient graphics.

    Hopefully they can recapture the same feeling for the player in this new title.
