This is coming along nicely! Bit much with the bolts for my taste, but I can see how it fits with the industrial theme. Love your steel.

for better airflow wouldn't you benefit from another fan inbertween the fan on the bottome of the front and the cd drives, correct meif i'm wrong though

to reduce noise but it stay good cooled

How did you manage to paint the mobo without covering necissary contacts (like the little contacts inside the PCI slots, pins-receptacles in the socket, etc)?!

Nice mod. That looks really factory like. Just put a little teeny weeny bit of rust in the corners or somewhere. That was just an idea so if you don't like it, ignore it.

I don't think you ever need to worry about over heating. That case is one giant heat sink.

Bending steel can be a pain. Did you do it by hand or use a pan-break or something?

i found a old VU-metr, so i used it 2x5LED

maybe you can light up the applelogo with a diffused blue/white led?

 

I like the screws all over. Gives a really cool industrial feel.

 

This mod is giving me inspiration to do something similar, I really like the way its turning out. Very good job man .


One sugestion, although the whole 'mesh' type stuff you used is a really good way to improve all around airflow, you should cut out where the fans are and use standard fan grills, alot less restrictive.

2x 80m@12V + 92mm@12V (3200ot) very noisy....overclocekd from 400/600 to 540/690 ( for the present there are no pasives on the memores, but after that...)











for the present overclocking results : barton2500+@3800+(1853@ 2475mhz at default voltage) fsb:225 x11, 2x256MB dual ddr 400@ 450mhz, Ati R9600Pro 400/600@ 535/680mhz

i did not tweaking up the voltage so after i will install active cooling to north bridge and pasives on graphic card memories...
