I take it the iphone version is addictive then (I know the 360 version was). I've got the light version on the iphone, just haven't tried playing it yet....

I get this all the time with turn based games - Front Mission 3 (just one more mission) and Birth of the Federation (when it's not crashing) are the biggest offenders.

A mobile version of BotF would be incredible :(

This might sound elitist and condescending, but.... why would anyone play Civilization on a console?

Having it on a phone is just dangerous. I'd never get anything done. Although I would have liked it if they'd gone retro with the graphics.

I so know this feeling. Civ eats time.

I think having played Civ PC version already, anything else seems dumbed down...and it is...but it's really reaching out with a different game to a different audience who might not have played Civ before

tbh, I seem to prefer playing games on the console these days.
I don't know why but Civ IV Rev on the 360 feels different to Civ IV on the PC.

    Maybe because:

    1. They don't have a PC that can run it.

    2. They don't have time for an 8 hour game of Civ 4, but can manage a 2 hour game of Civ Rev.

    3. Civ Rev is a great game.

Civ Rev is great. It's not Civ, but it is great.

Playing before you go to sleep isn't so bad. What's really dangerous is when you decide to have a "quick" game when you get up in the morning, before you have to go to work.

N'ah, I just walk and play, walk and play, get on the train and play, realise I'm on the wrong train and swear and play.

I've had the demo of this for months. I liked it but I wasn't convinced enough to buy it. I might give it a shot.

IF ONLY! We can but pray.

On a side note. The system requirements for CIV 5 have been released!
I can't wait to ditch the laptop and xbox, cut myself off from society and reacquaint myself with my aging PC.
