I have to cases ready for project behemoth where by i plan to fix these cases together. My only (major) problem is I don’t know or have the tool for welding.

The only tools I do have are: a dremel, jigsaw, hand drill, soldering iron and basic electronics tools such as screwdriver / pliers etc.

Bearing in mind I want to join these cases side by side permanently, what sort of options do you think I have?

Spose i could bolt them, but the metal rim that the side panels rest on are a bit thin, small and flimsy.

    Ill have a second look.

cut out a metal plate the asize of the two bases combined, and bolt it to the bottom of both of the cases.

dont use gorrilla glue that stuff is for wood only and will simply peel off of metal not to mention its an expanding glue so you would have to clamp the hell out of you two cases to get them to stay put while the glue dried. find a local metal shop or a school with a metal shop any thing with a spot welder and they will be happy to put a few spot welds in it for you and it would take about 5 minutes and it would last you a life time thats what i would do
