    Hello,

I was wondering if someone may help me find a great 14inch laptop that will be used to run multiple VM's(2 or 3 at most), can support 8 gigs of RAM, and has a good battery life. This will not be a gaming machine at all. OS does not matter.

    Thanks

I'm going to suggest a Thinkpad T400 and then you go buy two 4 gig sticks of ram for it.
Probably not going to have a good battery life though if you're going to be running VM's in VMWare ESX or something, native hypervisors like that usually don't have any kind of battery management, maybe save for UPS support.
