    Aloha,

I just re-installed XP after my "play time" with windows 7
(i loved win7, but not for a main OS in RC state)

and, was wondering whats the best low resource firewall around?

ive tried commodo, and zonealarm, both i thought were ok... but is there anything im missing out on?

    thanks in advance.

oh, forgot to add, im sat behind a router, which im assuming being a new netgear model, has a firewall.

would this and the XP firewall suffice?

A hacker is most likely not going to hack, I think he would be more interested in information he can sell from companies. If a hack happens it would be automatic, and any descent router will do the trick. However, if you carry/do sensitive data, than a better firewall like Vista's or Win7 will do. And if you want maximum protection which complete control on what goes in/out of your system with logs and stuff, then you need a real firewall software/hardware system, of which businesses/governments uses.
