    Fantastic news!
I'd love to see updated versions of the good old classics like those mentioned, and one that has been on my mind a lot lately: Zak McKracken!

..I'll be buying it just to help give them a reason to do the others.

Great stuff. I'll be doing my part at any rate. I know what all my friends are getting as birthday presents :p (not to mention picking a couple of copies up for myself of course).

That's exactly what I'll do. Maybe this way I'll contribute to pave the way for a MI5...

Is it me or is this a bit lame. Lucasarts do some new adventure games do a DOTT2 or Full Throttle 2 or Grim Fandango 2. I loved your adventure games but c'mon wheres the fun in replaying games where you know the solutions to the puzzles.

I'll probably buy it though, Im the same sucker who buys blu ray versions of films I have on dvd which i had on vhs.

lol at least you understand your weakness :D

Fantastic news though. I really hope to get a remake of Grim Fandango, even though the chances are slim because it's the newest of all. I wish I could play a version that is not bugged and that is hassle free because these days on Vista/7, even with the patches and all it still crashes on me. Actually the last time I played was on my Pentium 233MMX back in the win98 days

I hear it can be made to run quite easily on the likes of an EEE Linux OS. Have you tried using the fan installer?

Yeah you and I talked about this in another thread about 2 months ago but the game still crashed on me after a few minutes. The sound wasn't synced and after a while there wasn't any at all

I just realized I never played Day of the Tentacle. Let's hope they remake it so I can :)

Have you listened to the radio play that came with the early versions of the game?

No no no.... No remakes of their Windows-based adventures. It'd be a bit like reshooting Casablanca or <insert your favourite movie here>.

The old DOS-based games need a graphical overhaul to be sure. And of course a Windows-shell.

I will buy it, I love the classic but I'm not buying it because of the new fangled graphics, oh no, I'm buying it to prove that there is a market for 2d adventure games and hopefully they'll stop throwing out 3d shite fests :p
