    Article - It's a bit annoying that the specifications are on the initial 'Review' page rather than the similarly named 'Specifications and Inside' page.



    Laptop - It seems to tick all the boxes except 2.
    1) It seems over priced for what it is with a GTX970M.
    2) It looks far bigger for what it is, than it really should do. It all makes it look like a laptop from the 90's... A nice laptop, but still from the 90's.

    Ah sorry, that's my fault - originally had the first part as two pages, then compressed to one, then decided to split it again but forgot to rename the second page as a general page two, rather than specifically about the specs!

    Good luck finding a new 17in MacBook ;) If you look at the price, you'd need to spend £600 more to get a MacBook Pro with discrete graphics - all the other models only offer Intel graphics. It depends what you want really. As non-gaming devices MacBooks are brilliant. If you want a gaming laptop then this is much better value than the equivalent MacBook Pro.

    220mm thick? Wow. Where are these thicker 15in laptops? You could recycle them into a house.

    Regarding the actual laptop itself, the price is comparatively spot on for the specs here, but the thickness and weight seem to be the differentiating factor against it's competitors. You can get systems as powerful, if not more so, but chunkier. Any smaller with the same screen size, you're looking at the Macbook Pro Retina (a different proposition altogether) and the Razor Blade Pro 17 - the latter sacrifices storage options and graphics power for it's svelte dimensions while costing rather more (and with limited global availability). Nice little niche MSI have found here.

    For gaming?!

    I fail to see how a MacBook (Pro I'm assuming) would even be on the radar of someone looking for a gaming laptop.
