Just gotten my xbox mod completed... Here you can see that it ain't flawless, but I still think it's pretty good for a first time paintjob... I plan on painting the "xbox" text on the dvd drive... If I get a new jewel i'll put light behind it... if not then it's just going to remain like this... So what do you think ??
Why ? Most people (including myself) belives it's looks cool... Got two new images... This is how it look when it's active... Dosen't quite fit in, but that's the point... you just want to showoff your kewl xbox... PS. I think i'll be painting the controler tomorrow... damn paint cans, dosen't even contain more than 150cl... already used 3...

I had to watch the series twice in one week cause I just couldn't understand the end... And i've seen both the org. and End of Evangelion... And if that's not enough I still don't understand it completly...

I should try to get a few pics of my xbox, if i do ill post them here Its a silver fin/green+blue cameleon(sp?) X, purple cameleon jewel and small triangles. Very industrial grunge-esque. EDIT: got the pictures up now: Those pictures truly are bad, but for the real efect: VIDEO - MUST SEE THE EFFECT That video IS hosted off geocities.com, so i cant guarantee you get to see it(save it to your hd to see it), but that is the only way to get it justice.
Nice work Linkitch. Crisp and clean. Cant wait to see it with the painted XBOX on the CD drive as it will set it off perfectly. I really wish I had the time/money to mod my XBOX. PS: how did you remove the green from the centre "Jewl" ?
I used Acetone, and then because when you rub Acetone on plastic it gives scratches.. but not to worrie, I just used toothpaste to polish it up again...
Iv just started selling Xbox jewels about 3weeks ago....the jewels are hotter then the windows have been for these past 3 weeks.
linkitch... i think you should swap out the power led... the green doesnt quite fit... you could stick a white one in there, though you'd lose the ever-cool error indicator flashing amber color, but if you're content with just power indication, go white.
Hehe... Well I'm still concidering buying a jewel from you... but what does it cost to send a jewel to DK ?? It's in Europe if you don't know... Well I'd concider that... I was thinking about changing it to a blue, but maybe white would look cool too... Hmm... I better go on a search and see if I can finde any multicolor LED with a White color...
There, finally got my controller painted... This was my first attemt and i hated it... so i sanded it down and tried again... This was my second attemt and i like it alot more then before... No this isent a third attemt, just another angle... Just another angle again... Now all I have to do is get the jewel remade and put in there... and if im up for it, i'll put in some lights too...
Woah! Like the colour schemes there guys...It's miles better than the standard black and the green...which reminds me.... i have a PS2, and i am getting tired of the black.... What colour is the bluey, greeny, turquiose thingy? Keep going guys
