http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/8c52/ They work. Oh, do they work. The problems start when your room has many better hiding places than your housemates...
not only do they ship to the UK but they have wonderful ways of getting caffeine into your system such as the caffeinated lollipop and the caffeinated breath spray They also have some cool t-shirts
Still off-topic but yes, thinkgeek have shipped me annoyatrons before and they are really devilish devices. Their tee-shirts are awesome too, and if you're after a massive caffeine hit then I can't recommend Mana Potions highly enough.
Well, I phoned my landlady today. She was pissed, really pissed. She felt so bad for Danny she emptied all those bin bags and put it all back herself. Louise wasn't there. I read her the letter I sent Louise and Sue just laughed and said "Oh i'm so pleased!" Apparently Louise had left her a list of things to buy such as: Bath mat Plant for bathroom (as you can see, she pre-empted in buying that, so Sue didn't have to goto the trouble, just left the receipt) New chair due to a stain on it (i spilt milk on it last year FFS) Clean the living room carpet properly due to a small stain by one of the sofas. It's just a friggin stain! etc etc, so many stupid things sue literally said, **** that....! It appears louise has yet to open my letter as it was unopened when sue went there....so there is more to come. I am going there on Friday night, videocamera in hand hopefully...
Pre-empted buying something? A PLANT? If you want a plant in your house, you buy it yourself, not tell your landlady to buy it for you jesus christ. Bath mat i can possibly understand, but stains? Sure they probably should have been cleaned up while no one was in the house, but its not something you should demand. Did she view the house BEFORE she moved in/ signed any agreements, because its like buying a car you've not seen then asked the owner to clean it and buy scented trees for it! BITCH. GL with the videoing
a bathmat i cannot understand. i class that as linen, and that's something you provide yourself. sue's opinion of the stains is that they are visual, it doesn't reduce the capabilities of the carpet, so live with it. and i agree! of course she viewed the house, several times in fact. she's just a dirty ho and i'm gonna lay the law down on friday. and im going to buy an iphone tomorrow to cheer myself up about all of this!
I really belive that the you and the other flatemates need to knock some sence into her, or she will keep this crap up and/or put some other people throu the same crap at a later date
I know i didnt get to say anything before you handed her your letter but I would have just put everything back exactly as it was, say for moving her stuff out her cupboard. Even better if she is not there, and wait till she comes to me for a reason why i put everything back. Then i'd lay the whole 'what were you thinking moving all our stuff into someones room without asking first?'. Hopefully the letter will put her back in her place, or at least hope that she gets some basic idea what she has done was not right. Oh and the bath mat thing, if its a cloth / floor mat agreed, but i was under the impression it was one that lay in the bath so you dont slip and break your face ( imagine that happening to your housemate, feel better now? )
she able to wipe her own arse? FFS she a 1st year? Because she dosen't understand student living at all, things are ment to be a little rough around the edges because after all its cheap living!
no that's the most unbelievable thing...she's 3rd year.....!!!!!!! i'm slightly looking forward to going back so I can lay the smack down....
