I'll start: Un-retire - get off butt and go back to work and share my skills. Better Diet More exercise - within my limits Throw away a ton of old PC parts (recycle responsibly) - cases, etc and stop pack ratting so much. Paint and decorate my living space differently. New looks make new attitudes. Well that list should take the next 16 months. john
To be more assertive to my own goals To live and love, more To be patient and understanding to others Give back to the people in my life Work out more To be able to look back in Dec '09 and be proud of my life and my list that I have written here
1. Make New years resolutions 2. Write more New years resolutions 3. Have a better diet 4. Lose ten pounds (then gain it back) 5. Learn more russian/german. 6. (#2)
1. Finish high school with honors (80% or higher average overall for the year) done it from grade 8 until now, so 1 more semester and I'm golden.. As of now my grade 12 average is around a 87, but it'll go down because I have math next semester lol... 2. Learn how to play my guitar... Had it for almost a week and progress is coming slowly, don't plan on stopping, just hoping to continue practicing regularly. 3. Get accepted into university of choice... In my case: Ryerson for televesion and radio or a film / broadcasting program 4. Find a real part-time job 5. Get my g2 drivers license. 6. Lose a bit of weight... I'm gettin chubby Think that's my major stuff
1. Strive to do better in school. 2. Earn motorcycle driving license. 3. Have better sleeping habits. 4. Gain weight. Since I graduated high school and stopped playing sports I've lost the muscle I had. I would like to gain that back.
no resolutions are needed for me. I know things will change for me as I am almost done with college and will get a real job within the next 4-6months
Finish stuff to 100% completion, or at least a workable 1.0 state. And either meet more people around here or leave. Preferably the latter, especially as there doesn't seem to be anyone nearby anyways. I've hated this location since we moved here, though I've been generally unhappy since I left for college 2.5 years ago, and about 1% better since leaving 1.5 years ago (I still take the top search result for "babson sucks" ) but this area is just devoid of anything worthwhile.
I dropped all I could think of during countdown last night as I realized that all resolutions, wishes, budget, hopes, and plans, are nothing but hokum.
1. Put proper effort into training this year 2. Be a better flatmate 3. Take a trip to New York 4. Get a tattoo 5. Sort out my data storage
Waste even more money on hw than 08... ehh thats how reality will be, now for the should be: Spend less money on pc parts get driving license find job with good enough payment so I can live on my own instead of having to rent a room in a shared house.
