Nice work on the cabling mate to keep it that tidy with so many is impressive - Over all this has a huge amount of "mines bigger than yours " to it .

    Simply Awesome

Spent few hours on reading your thread and I am really really really impressed, I was just wondering what exactly are u using it for? and can you access all hdds from one machine (separate pc inside the case)? also what do you keep on 30TB of space??? :p

Overall very nice and impressive project, absolutely love cable management. I also work on my own small project ;) HTPC for living room :)

What do you mean why? Because he can.

Also feel free to tell us as soon as you can come up with a more compact/in any way better way of housing half a million hard drives.

Hi guys! As some of you might know is the yearly "The Gathering" LAN party in vikingskipet Norway coming up soon.... hopefully will it be around 6000 contestants around in a large hall ^^

and when that is done, will it be time for me to move on....new ideas allways emerge when you give it enough time, and the modding mind is starting to have some cravings again.. i believe this would be some kind of mentally illness, but a strive for perfection still persist

Would therefore be happy to announce that the 6th GeN project is going for sale quite soon, to make headroom for well... 7th gen, lol

The project have had a build cost of a staggering 14,000 USD not counting in the time and effort to build it all

If anyone would have some interest , please dont hesitate to send me a PM =)

    Best regards,

    Christer Grevaeg

I know that Norwegians are tall viking-like people (well, some of us scandinavians aren't, but some are, hehe) and this 3xPC must be like a viking-pc!
I kept shouting "he's fricking insane, crazy and wow-wow" while my gf next to me playing HL2 had to listen to me and shaking her head all the time. Yeah, girls aren't that much into that - but she noticed when I said "I have a hard-on because of THAT" ROFL!

You sir, are the most crazy modder I have ever seen! Damn damn damn and damn! :D

Love it though! How can you not? And it's for sale?!?! (don't look at me, Im not into for buying that beast, hehe)

    /Frido
