Electronics Rheobus

    Im makin my own rheobus and just drew up a diagram for it... anyone wanna tell me if they think this will work good or not???

    Its sorta like the one in the bit tech article.. but i dont have the switches... tell me whatcha think...

    again, if you post in electronics forum u would get a reply, if an admin will mooove it for you might still get one....

    using my limited knowledge of electronics it should work but as i learnt here, leds dont dimm well...

    yeah that looks fine... and as flix said... leds don't dim too well.. so there's no point in adding them behind the rehostats (i forwent leds completely in my rheobus setup... though i used a lm317t)

    Try it. Electricity takes the path of least resistance, so I don't think the LEDs will light on that circuit. But try it anyway, I could be wrong.

    If that were true, you wouldn't be able to run a 3kW kettle and a 25W light-bulb at the same time in your house :lol:

    use the brightest freaking led's you can possibly find... but if your fans are running at the lowest speed, expect the led to pretty much be off...

    I don't know...I assumed the fans would have a very low resistance.

    i think when i do it im gonna throw in some 5mm 5v 30mA Bloo LEDs, even if they dont dim much when the fan gets turned down, i realy dont care... the bloo LEDs are still gonna look sweet on there no madder what, so me = dont care :D Any other suggestions on how to make this beast awsome?
