OK i just dug this game out of the piles of junk, and i started playing it !! and OMG, WOW, oohow old it this!! -------------------------- also can any one remember what to do when a roller coaster CRASHES!!, cos i cant and it driving me mad!
yep, its a great game, it even runs on my pentium MMX 233mhz 4mb gfx 5gb hd, its such a good concept, and its so realistic, there is a version 2, but i never got it. but it looks almost the same but with better gfx. i recomend this game to everyone! and it was made in.... OMFG 1999, i had no idea...
RCT is a class game, ive had them all so far. number 2 is great and is an easy way to waste a few hours
To reset a crashed ride, I think you have to double click the close ride icon (the red light). Probably best to just save often and try and go back and prevent the crash in the first place if you can though (the encounter could create a time paradox, the result of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space-time continuum and destroy the entire universe...urgh too much Back To The Future this Christmas, hehe).
I was addicted to this game a while back. My addiction to these types started with transport tycoon, the old dos title. It was amazing. However, they got a bit silly with loads of "tycoon" titles, pizza, airport etc etc.
i still play RCT and im f'kin amazin at it i must say. to make rides less likely to crash you have to inspect them more often with mechanics. If peeps dont want to go on it again, just edit a bit of the track, then open it again as a new ride!! I am the RCT god, i even won a PCGAMER competition because of it , a nice graphics card, whicha t the time was like 250 quid worth
and did u know, if u build a ride on top of a maintanance (sp) guy, he'll stay faithful to that ride and fix it whenever it b0rks?
hey, u got ne kick as saved parks we can have a gander at? Im always curious to how other people's parks look
if youve got both the addon packs for the first one then im sure i could digu pa few, but i lost a load in my reformat early in 2003 (as long with other peoples stuff )
