Scratch Build – In Progress Schroff propac to micro atx

    My build that I am working on. The enclosure is from some kind of medical equipment and is manufactured by a company called schroff in Germany. It originally had a few small pcbs inside of it but I do not have any pictures. It was never meant to hold regular computer components so everything inside of the case itself is from scratch.

    One of my main goals for this build is to be as sturdy as possible, so for that reason I am mounting the gpu using standoffs instead of the traditional method.

    Here you can see that the I/O board is not at the rear of the case, in order to make room for the radiator I had to move the motherboard more towards the center of the case. I will be using short panel mount cables for all the the usb, audio, dvi, et cetera. The panel mount cables will go under the rad through one of three holes.
