    Great news and wow Dreamcast what a console, wish someone would release a powerstone 3, that online with 4 people would be epic.

    By the way its Project Needlemouse and all of the 3d adventures weren't bad, Sonic Adventure for example.

    Well I am sure there is a new market for 2D in HD, Its like a new lease of life for 2D....and u only have to see BlazBlue to see how nice 2D can look....

    Thats great news ! Loved the first two on the megadrive and still run them on an emulator occasionaly on my pc.

    @ mi1ez The pc is a far better gaming platform than it was in the early 90's, i think they probably would do a pc release with it... they did for some of the 3D games.

    Well it's about bloody time I have to say, soooooooo many crap sonic games lately on all consoles, the only 3D sonic's I'd recommend is the Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 GC remakes cause the chao mini game breeding thingy is just awesome, I've spent many a day breeding my chao's to S rank on all stats + looking absolutely uber ^_^

    Awesome, but Sonics 1,2 and 3 are already on xbox live arcade in HD, and that suits me right down to the ground.

    The teaser really is a teaser this time, not giving anything away.
    I really want this game to be good and not to fail like all the recent sonic games

    If it's 2.5D I imagine they'll use the hedgehog engine from Unleashed. hopefully it's actually 2D though and not 2.5D

    Also I hope they put more throught into level design so it's not all about speed but with some exploration, platforming and what not too.

    None of that Linear roller coaster ride crap from Sonic Rush/Unleashed!

    I said that like the mega drive did and I felt like is a kid again!

    I remember getting Sonic and Knuckles, using all the other Sonic's it was like getting a load of new games in one!

    Can anyone remember one of the mini games on Sonic 3 *I think*, it was in a psuedo 3d where you had to hit or collect all of the blue balls and miss the red ones (in turn turning the blue balls into red ones and thus never being able to stop). I loved that mini game and spent hours getting very good at it.

    Ah the memories.

    I remember! I also remember the sheer speed it would get up to when you got far, i think that level brought on Epilepsy in most of my generation!
