How are you planning to mount that CPU waterblock? If I'm not mistaken the Gigabyte boards don't have mounting holes around the socket...

Soz bout the lack of updates here :( Im back at collage full time so only have weekends to get this finished (till easter at least).

But anyway I have made some progress

The barbs came so ive drilled those out to size and fitted them to the block and pump.

The biggest change is to the rad. The position of the original Barbs was all wrong when i put it together with the NF7 mobo so i have changed back to the original idea (ish).

I put most of the bits together in a loop because i was bord

I had some small probs with that brass Y that i got from coolercases. Its just the wrong angle so the tubing i cut is slightly kinked but it think i can solve this with a better Y. Im having trouble routing tube from Cpu >Rad aswell as space is so tight. The core looks relly crappy and ameture at the mo but im hoping to get that fixed with a bit of filler and paint (at least its not leaking:))

I think what im going to do is try and get My res done and then concentrate on getting the thing up and working. The project is starting to grind as nothing seames to go/look right but im sure i will sort it. :thumb:

Got the cpu block mounted up and used the mobo (NF7) out of my 2nd rig to get the tubing cut. Its looking like it will fit easyer than i thought :D

That looks awesome so far. :thumb:
I wish I had some of that equipment so I could manufacture some stuff on my own.
btw, why is the plate in the middle of the block curved? Is that to improve water flow so that cooler water is expelled out the block? or just for flow? or something else I duno about, or have forgotten?

Can't wait to see it finished. keep up the great work. :thumb:

Are we talking res or block here? :blah:  the res has a baffle in it but its not curved athough the pic may make it look curved. Its basicly to slow the water down and make sure the bubbles have time to rise :thumb:
