Has anyone spraypainted plexi so that it is partially see-thru? A bit like the window tint effect but spray paint would allow for curved surfaces...?
They do make clear paints, generally available in craft shops. How good of a stick it would have to super smooth plexi I don't know, have you considered the idea of perhaps using window tinting film instead? Might be a bit easier.
used the window tint but it's VERY difficult to do on a curved surface... you need to cut out little bits. Imagine window tinting something shaped like a fruit bowl... that's the sort of idea I had.
Yeah i see where you are going now, i am not going to be of much help to you other than to possibly recomend, coloured acrylic ( I am thinking of pre cast coloured sheets here now). but yeah trying to wrap the tinting around a bowl shape would be tough to say the least.
Art supplies.. Plastikote do something like it, but anything similar will do. I'll try and find a link.
