Has anyone spraypainted plexi so that it is partially see-thru?

A bit like the window tint effect but spray paint would allow for curved surfaces...?

They do make clear paints, generally available in craft shops. How good of a stick it would have to super smooth plexi I don't know, have you considered the idea of perhaps using window tinting film instead? Might be a bit easier.

used the window tint but it's VERY difficult to do on a curved surface... you need to cut out little bits.

Imagine window tinting something shaped like a fruit bowl... that's the sort of idea I had.

Yeah i see where you are going now, i am not going to be of much help to you other than to possibly recomend, coloured acrylic ( I am thinking of pre cast coloured sheets here now). but yeah trying to wrap the tinting around a bowl shape would be tough to say the least.

Glass spray paint should do it... I've used it on clear acrylic before.

Art supplies.. Plastikote do something like it, but anything similar will do. I'll try and find a link.
