    This is awesome, I'm gonna have to break out sketchup

    First prize should be MNPCTech building the winner's case for them. That would ROCK

    Thank you very much :D you've pretty much read my mind on what needs to change on the cooling too :hehe:

    Not looking forward to trying to make the tubing for the watercooling though :sigh:

    some people might not like designs like that. some, like myself, like subtle, clean and simple designs with innovation. some people may like the layout of normal atx style cases. i mean it's worked for over a decade, so obviously theres something in the layout.

    Tip for anyone posting screenshots from SketchUp:

    To get clearer images, without overly thick lines and staggered edges, you need to position your camera as normal, then go to File > Export > 2D Graphic, then type your file name, save directory etc. then upload like you usually would. Believe it or not, it's actually easier than screencapping, then pasting into Paint/Photoshop/GIMP etc then saving it that way.

    Just a little friendly advice :D

    Hehe, I don't have the finances to cover that. I'll be posting 1st and 2nd place prizes this week. They'll be nice!

    You can blame the person who invited me to come on over to the darkside for what I'm about to do.

    For your consideration I present to you the Gin - Sonix By Stark!

    Just a quick q. I want to make an in-built monitor, could someone tell me how to get a wallpaper (.jpg) onto the model?

    Joe

    ::EDIT:: NVM, just worked it out.

    @mantronic

    Don't forget the wheels and the blacklight - tonic glows under blacklight.

    A small peletier based cooloer and I'm voting for this!

    Working on it;) My powy-gons are being problematic...

    Sorry, I proposed that one.:D It seemed appropriate.

    @Kyledvm - TOO tease-ish!

    You can either use the follow me tool, or intersect 2 objects and delete the parts you don't want.

    A bit of help pls folks.

    [IMG]

    Y'see in that picture, that round bar running alongside the case, i want the bit on the outside to stay, but the bits that overshoot the edge, and the bits on the inside, i want to get rid of. Whats the easiest way of doing this?

    I am a noob at Su, so gimme a chance lol

    right click and intersect with model. Then remove the unwanted lines and the rest should stay intacted. As for the bar being too long, use push/pull.
