Not watched simpsons in years, however im sure the extended sofa run is likely a one off much like many other episodes when they reach the sofa and do a song and dance or whatever. Tho for all the stuff before it, it was hardly worth it I feel Quite.
Just seems way OTT, wouldn't have been so bad if they had just got on the sofa, but all the chasing just made it drag on.
Its not too bad, but I hated the sofa gag. Much better quality you can actually see the price of Maggie.
I really aprecciate the beginnig but it's was like wow,rox,rulez,good, then start to fall. I love till homer got smashed on the door, after thas is just boring.
it's going to be the same everytime only up until homer smashes the door. The rest will be the regular 5 seconds "joke". It wont be the sofa every time and it wont be this long either so if you actually like the first part then you do like the new intro
I have to agree. Its sad how our needs in entertainment have outgrown what the simpsons are able to produce.
20 effing series? No wonder none of the new episodes have anything funny/original in them - IT'S DONE EVERY IDEA ON EARTH! :O Simpsons peaked quite a few years ago for me. I can't stand it now, new intro or not.
I've only gotten up to Season 16.. That intro sequence was wayyy too long, didn't even make me laugh once, so meh.
Good to know, this is way to long, it get's boring along the way, but the HD make a lot of difference.
Up until about season 12 or 13 it was pretty good, but after that it's fallen a loong looooong way down the **** slope. The newest episodes are truly awful.
