As the title suggests I'm trying to decide if it's worth stumping up the extra to get a 670 over the 660ti.

I currently have a 560ti twin frozr which I'm pretty happy with but I'd really like a card with 2gb of ram and a little extra ooomph.

I run at 1920x1200 and can't max out bf3 on ultra as it doesn't like it for some reason.

Scan have THIS card at a reasonable price but I really don't like stock coolers so I'm really looking at the MSI 660ti or 670 power editions.

It's an approx difference of £70 which is a big jump for an extra 5 or so fps (Using BF3 for that example) but it would give me a little more longevity.

Buy the best you can afford.

Decide on your max budget, and grab the best deal you can. The 670 offers better value than the 660Ti, in my opinion.

How does BF3 run if you turn MSAA off, leaving FXAA on?

I would go for the 670 to make it a big enough jump. Otherwise it is not much of an upgrade as the 660 is only slightly better performance than a 580; but is more power efficient. And I don't think you'd bother upgrading your 560 to a 580.

If it was my money I'd go for the 670, or save my money for the next round of cards.

I wouldn't go any lower than my 670. to future proof it as much as possible.

The 670 is a beast of a card and from what I have read the 660 is a fair bit slower for not a huge amount saved.

The 660Ti was fine at 1920x1080, but the 192bit memory bus started showing it's limitations as the resolution increased. Crapbag's 1920x1200 is not a massive increase in res, but it might be enough to shorten the Ti's longevity.

    I'm tempted to upgrade, since my 570 isn't 100%.

If I were to, I'd go for the 670 personally, seems to be slightly better price/performance from what I've seen (saying that I haven't looked into it THAT much, and I'm running 1440p)

I've run Crysis 2 with DX11 and the texture pack at 1600p, at stock clocks, without any problems; if that's of any help to you.
